  UR Registered Nurse/UR RN, Adult Psychiatric Utilization Review, Full-Time, Days, Albuquerque, NM

  We are looking for a Utilization Review Registered Nurse to join our   Adult Psychiatric   team in Albuquerque, NM.
  This full time job is located at Lovelace Medical Center,  an acute care hospital providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, cardiology, stroke care, radiology and oncology services, including the state’s only Gamma Knife Center for non-invasive radiologic brain surgery.
  Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities: 

  • The UR Nurse will provide clinical to support the need for inpatient level of care for payors.
  • The UR nurse wil communicate with physicians, staff and payors to ensure appropriateness of care.

Registered Nurse job Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
  • Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • 2-3 years of Clinical experience in the acute care setting
  • Valid NM RN License or valid multi-state compact license
  • Current BLS
  •   Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  •   Good organizational and follow-through skills
