Nuclear Medicine Tech- Nuclear Medicine, PRN, Albuquerque

We are looking for a PRN Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our Nuclear Medicine team in Albuquerque, NM. This PRN job is located at Lovelace Women’s Hospital, the first and only hospital in New Mexico dedicated to women’s health. We offer a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a natural birthing center, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
 
 
  Nuclear Medicine Tech Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • May provide clerical support for assigned department to include but not limited to scheduling appointments, record keeping and answering phones.
  • Performs quality control and maintains equipment and reports areas of concern to appropriate manager.
  •   Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. 

Nuclear Medicine Tech Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum: Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • Desired: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two (2) years of related experience of which one (1) year must have been clinical internship
  • AART (N), or NMTCB, or ASCP (N), Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate issued by State of NM
  • Current BLS
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to problem solve and exercise independent judgment
  • Skilled in a variety of software applications
  • Basic computer knowledge
