Medical Laboratory Tech (MLT), Part- Time job, Days, Roswell, NM

We are looking for a Medical Lab Tech to join our Laboratory team in Roswell, NM.
This part-time job is located at Lovelace Regional Hospital provides 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical services and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community. Lovelace’s presence in Roswell also includes a primary and specialty care clinic to allow us to better serve the residents of southeast New Mexico.

Medical Lab Tech (MLT) Job Responsibilities:

  • The Medical Lab Tech (MLT) obtains and analyzes specimens from patients using the necessary manual and automated techniques resulting in timely, accurate results for diagnosis and treatment. 
  • Expected to adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Medical Lab Tech (MLT) Education and Experience Requirements:

  •   Associate’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology or 60 semester hours (24 of those hours must be in biology, chemistry or life science. Of the 24   hours, 6 must be in chemistry and 6 in biology). 
  • Desired: Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • One year experience in a moderate/high complexity lab
  • Preferred: Nationally registered by ASCP or equivalent or registry eligible.
