Lovelace Shared Services: Organizational support departments for all Lovelace facilities including Coding, Finance, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Marketing, and the Resource Team.  We are dedicated to exceeding our customers’ expectations in every way.

Lovelace Shared Services is now hiring a Supervisor, Business Office.

Responsibilities:

    • Supervise business office activities to ensure effective billing, collections and reporting.
    • Day to Day operations of the Payment Variance Team
    • Supervise a group of employees
    • First point of escalation for employees
    • Review and analyze remaining to collect for trends and billing issues
    • Weekly Productivity
    • Monthly Quality Reviews
    • Managing Weekly Recoveries Detail
    • Approve staff/vendor ATS and Recoup requests

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum: Bachelors degree in business or comparable experience. 
  • Medic manuals, ICD-9 and CPT coding books, Medicare price lists, Medicare Rules and Regulations, other insurance reference materials, release of medical information materials.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of the entire medical billing and collections process.  Must be able to articulate and implement written plans with specific, measurable, action-oriented tasks. 
  • Requires extensive understanding and ability to train others on medical terminology, Medic software, Medicare and other insurance requirements. 
  • Requires excellent problem solving, research, accounting, auditing, organizational, computer, and interpersonal communications skills. 
  • Must be able to provide feedback and effectively supervise a diverse staff. 
  • Requires flexibility, ability to work extended hours when required. 
  • Must work well under pressure with limited time lines.
  • Five (5) years of experience in managing technical and administrative aspect of physician billing and accounts receivable
