Lovelace Women’s Hospital is hiring a Lead Respiratory Therapist.  The Lead Respiratory Therapist provides clinical leadership and promotes quality patient care by training and leading assigned staff. 

<!—[if !supportLists]—>      <!—[endif]—>Collaborates with the manager and/or director in developing and revising department quality assurance, performance improvement, policies, procedures, and protocols. 

<!—[if !supportLists]—>      <!—[endif]—>Serves as a department liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers, and staff.

<!—[if !supportLists]—>      <!—[endif]—>Coordinates and oversees the safe delivery of complex, non-routine treatments of patients.

Qualifications:

<!—[if !supportLists]—>      <!—[endif]—>Education Minimum:  Associates Degree or Diploma from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program

Education Desired:  Bachelor’s Degree in related field; certification in clinical specialty

<!—[if !supportLists]—>      <!—[endif]—>Supervision/Management knowledge and experience; Clinical/Specialty expertise:  Strong conflict resolution skills:  Ability to maintain patient confidentiality

<!—[if !supportLists]—>      <!—[endif]—>Experience Minimum: One year critical care experience and one (1) year of related supervisory/lead experience in hospital setting. 

<!—[if !supportLists]—>      <!—[endif]—>Experience Desired: Three (3) years of related experience

<!—[if !supportLists]—>      <!—[endif]—>Licensure Minimum: Current NM Respiratory Care License; BLS. ACLS or National Specialty Certification.
