Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Stroke Unit, Full Time, Nights job

We’re hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Progressive Care Stroke Unit/Neuroscience to work full-time in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time RN job that will be scheduled for Nights and may include weekends and holidays.

The Registered Nurse job in this unit will provide care to Neuro/Stroke patients. This unit has been designated as a primary stroke center with multiple awards from the American Stroke Association. This unit has its own dedicated hospitalist group and all RNs are stroke trained and ACLS certified.

Progressive Care Stroke Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.

  • May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.

  • Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Progressive Care Stroke Registered Nurse Education and Experience Job Requirements:

  • Minimum: Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing

  • Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

  • Desired: One (1) year experience

  • Valid NM RN License or valid multi-state compact license

  • BLS
