  We are looking for a Purchasing Buyer to join our Materials Management team in Albuquerque, NM.

  This full-time job is located with Lovelace Shared Services, organizational support departments for all Lovelace facilities including Coding, Finance, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Marketing, and the Resource Team. We are dedicated to exceeding our customers’ expectations in every way.

  Purchasing Buyer Job Requirements:

  • Responsible for placing orders for all incoming requisitions for equipment, supplies and services, reviewing for completeness, accuracy and ordering authority. 
  • Ensures that MM/Financial system is maximized; requests items numbers, contract updates, updates templates, utilizes EDI.
  • Works with departments to ensure compliance to group purchasing organization or system agreements and maximizes use of Financial/Material Management system.

Purchasing Buyer Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in related field of study, education may be substituted for relevant experience in accordance to policy.
  • Two (2) years of related experience, experience may be substituted for relevant education in accordance to policy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently
  • Advanced computer skills
