We are looking for a Process Improvement System Analyst to join our Quality Management team in Albuqueruqe, NM

This full-time job is located at     Lovelace Medical Center, in the heart of Albuquerque, is an acute care hospital providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, cardiology, stroke care, radiology and oncology services, including the state’s only Gamma Knife Center for non-invasive radiologic brain surgery.

Process Improvement System Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information related to customer needs and innovation design initiatives.

  • Obtains data from multiple sources and combines analytical and presentation skills to aggregate results for the purpose of creating innovative hypothesis and testing. 

  • Participates in process improvement design initiatives by providing information, facts and results of current and future innovation design ideas. 

  • Partners with business systems throughout Lovelace to obtain data and information from production computer systems including delivery system and health plan data.

  • Analyzes results of internal information alongside external geographic data to support community epidemiological studies.

  Process Improvement System Analyst Education and Experience job Requirements:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.

  • Decision making ability that shows a high degree of judgement significantly affecting multiple areas of the organization.

  • Familiar with a variety of the concepts, practices, and procedures of healthcare delivery. Knowledge of analytics and the use of data to influence and design new innovation initiatives.  

  • Ability to make decisions that are varied and in many cases solutions must be developed. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Ability to determine appropriate courses of action in complex situations that may not be addressed by existing policies, procedures or protocols and may involve working with others to establish department objectives.  Decisions revolve around innovation concept design that require “out-of-the-box” thinking.

  • Three (3) years of experience working in a healthcare business office environment.
