This position requires a physician that wants to create a strong new practice and address a highly needed service line in Albuquerque, NM where patient wait times statewide are 6 weeks and beyond.
Lovelace Medical Group is hiring a Dermatologist to join the Group.
Lovelace Medical Group provides a collegial environment that supports a great work life balance. You will have an assigned MA and see approximately 15- 18 patients per day in an outpatient clinic setting.

Must be able to obtain a New Mexico Medical License without restrictions. Board Certified in Dermatology.

Job Summary:

      Providers primary clinical care to patients in accordance to regulations to include but not limited to obtaining patient history, ordering of lab and diagnostic studies, arranging referrals and performing physical exams. 

      Assess patient treatment and assists in surgical procedures under the supervision of physician; Administers medications and injections; performs therapeutic procedures.   

      Participates for completing basic competencies in addition to departmental specific competencies and attends departmental and/or professional meetings and training sessions as requested.

      Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.

      Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.

      Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”.

Education/Licenses and Certifications:

      Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program

      Ability to communicate effectively; Ability to work independently; Basic computer skills.

      Three (3) years of clinical experience in primary care or related experience

      New Mexico Medical License without restrictions. Board Certified in Dermatology.
