Lovelace Medical Center is hiring a Physicist.

MS or PhD in Medical Physics, 3 yrs experience preferred

Certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics by ABR, ABMP or equivalent.

  • The MS level Radiation Therapeutic Physicist has an academic Masters Degree and at least one academic degree in Physics or a closely allied science.
  • He/She is a member of the radiation therapy treatment team who is familiar with the physical and geometric characteristics of the radiation equipment and radioactive sources commonly employed, and he/she has the training and expertise necessary to measure and generate radiation, output, dose distributions and calculations without any close supervision.
  • The MS level Physicist is expected to be Board Certified (ABR, ABMP, or equivalent) before completion of the 5th year of service

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Physics or a closely related allied science.
  • 3+ years experience
  • Board Certification (ABR, ABMP, or equivalent) before completion of the 5th year of service.
