Lovelace Women’s Hospital is hiring anHouskeeping Lead.  The Housekeeping Lead is responsible for assisting the supervisor in overseeing the daily operations for assigned area to include training, supervising and motivating personnel.  In addition, coordinates and oversees work.

  • Serves as ‘lead’ in their functional area, which includes but is not limited to: Handling non-routine/complex situations; orienting new hires/ new staff members in their functional area; providing input into the performance evaluation process & hiring process; coordinating schedules and work assignments for perr group in the absence of the supervisor/manager.
  • Performs the duties of an environmental services technician (housekeeper) as outlined in the job description and accepts the responsibility for a limited area, shift or task as assigned, and for the quality standard in designated area, reports concerns to supervisor.
  • Monitors and oversees assigned areeas to ensure assignments are bing completed within a timely manner.
  • Inspects and maintains equipment daily to ensure proper usage.
  • Cooperates and   interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments and all customer   groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”.


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to read,    write and understand detailed instructions in English. 
  • Ability to   communicate effectively and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work   independently or as an effective team member.
  • Minimum of 6   months of previous job related experience.
