Lovelace Women’s Hospital Dietary Team is hiring a Food Service Worker.


      Performs general food serving duties to include setting up food station, serving and preparing food.

      May assist with special functions.

      Purchases, organizes and inventories food and supplies from vendor.

      Organize and sanitation of all storage of all dietary storage facilities.

      Perform basic cashiering duties; collect money, close and balance register.

      Maintains work area to ensure a clean and safe environment.

      Adheres to safety requirements as required.

      Responsible for completing basic competencies in addition to departmental specific competencies.

      Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety.


Qualifications:

Minimum: 6 months of experience with food purchasing, inventory and product rotation.

      Must be able to read, write and speak English

      Ability to communicate effectively

      Ability to work independently

      Basic cashiering skills
