Director of Clinical Operations, Nursing Administration, Full- Time, Days 

  We are looking for an Administrative Director to join out Nursing Administration team in Albuquerque, NM

  This full time job is located at   Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital   provides state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from health care conditions such as stroke, brain injury and musculoskeletal disorders. The only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). 

Director of Clinical Operations Responsibilities:


  • Directs and administers strategic, operational, fiscal and personnel activities for assigned department(s) in accordance with established regulatory agencies. 
  • Prepares and manages budgets, manages/supervises staff and ensures quality services are provided through daily operations. 
  • Manages operations and development for assigned area(s) with measurable improvements in clinical outcomes and customer patient satisfaction.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. 

  Director of Clinical Operations job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of leadership experience in acute care hospital. Must be actively seeking a MBA, MHA or related degree.
  •   Ability to influence, motivate, manage, train, direct, counsel and develop staff; communication and positive employee relation skills; knowledge of regulatory standards for compliance. 
  •   Ability to demonstrate executive disposition with leadership potential. Demonstrated interpersonal skills. 
  •   Five (5) years relevant experience of which three (3) years must have been in a management capacity. 
  •   Relevant education and/or experience may be substituted in accordance to policy. 
  •   Valid NM Licensure may be required depending on the clinical focus of this position.
