Human Resources Director, Human Resources, Full-Time job, Albuquerque, NM

  We are looking for a Human Resources Director to join our Human Resources Team in Albuquerque, NM.
  This full time job is located with Lovelace Medical Group, a multispecialty provider group, which includes clinics, doctors and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care, and provides patients with exceptional health care through the support of Lovelace Health System hospitals and technology.

  Human Resources Director Job Responsibilities:

  • Directs Human Resources best practices into business strategies and objectives for applicable business unit.
  • Responsible for providing a variety of human resources services for an office, subsidiary or remote location. 
  • Oversight of applicable business unit action plans to impact employee retention and engagement. 
  • Works closely with upper management to ensure success of human resources programs. 
  • Oversight of Human Resource analytics validating compliance with legal and regulatory standards including EEO, Affirmative Action, etc. 
  • Oversees internal employee communication programs, including employee newsletters, handbooks, brochures, policies and procedures manuals and related communications.
  • Acts as the primary escalation point for employee relations issues including management of ethics and compliance line reports. 

Human Resources Director Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for one another in accordance to policy.
  • Seven (7) to Ten (10) years in Human Resources with three (3) to five (5) years direct supervisory responsibility of staff, relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for one another in accordance to policy.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of EEO laws and general human resources concepts
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to be responsible and persuasive at all levels of the organization.
